I began to experience these awful phases of distension in my abdomen. My abs and belly area would become rock hard and cause extreme pain. Often, this would get to the point where I could barely drink water without experiencing discomfort. Again, I knew this wasn’t normal. However, the doctors diagnosed it as gastritis, telling me I just had to wait for it to pass.
…I tried to eat the foods that would allow my body to perform at its highest level. However, even with all of this conscious effort, I still suffered from severe bloating. Depending on what I ate I became known as “Buddha Belly”…
