Recipe: Skinny Hot Apple Cider
Prep time: 5 minutes | Cook time: 25-30 minutes | Makes: 10 servings
Serving size: heaping 6 ounces
- 8 cups 100% apple juice
- 1 large orange, thinly sliced
- peel from 1 lemon
- 4 cinnamon sticks
- 8 allspice berries
- 10 whole cloves
1. Combine all of the ingredients in a large pot and bring to a boil.
2. Reduce the heat and simmer uncovered for 25-30 minutes.
3. To serve, ladle out 6 fluid ounces in each cup.
